The sealer
Why the sealer matters
A new BTO wall is still curing and drinks paint unevenly. An older wall painted four or five times is chalky. Sealing first is how we can promise the paint will not lift, which is why the 1-year workmanship warranty comes with the sealer.
- One coat of sealer, so the paint bonds to the wall and not to the old paint. Two to choose from at the same price: Nippon Odour-less Ultra 5102, low odour for a home you are living in, or Nippon Vinilex 5170, the oil-based sealer.
- Add it and 10% comes off the whole bill. It takes a useful bite out of what the sealer costs.
- Every job with sealer carries our 1-year workmanship warranty, in writing.

Two full coats
On every wall and ceiling in the package. Not one coat with a patch here and there.
Surface prep
Scraping, sanding, caulking and masking before a brush touches the wall. This is where a paint job is won or lost.

We move it, sheet it and tape it. You do not need to hire movers or empty the flat.
Anti-mould ceiling paint
Ceilings get two coats of Nippon Matex White Anti-Mould on every package.
Small repairs filled free
Palm-sized patches, nail holes and hairline cracks are filled free. We do not count them.

When can you paint my BTO flat?

Do you help us choose colours?
Yes. We bring Nippon colour cards to the free site inspection and help you choose. Walls take up to 2 colours for a 2-room, 3 for a 3-room and 4 for a 4-room and bigger, with white ceilings. Budget is whole-house white.

How long does it take?
One to two days for a 3-room, two to three days for a 4-room or 5-room, three to four days for an executive or maisonette.
Do I need an HDB permit to paint my flat?
No. Renovation permits are for works that change the structure or the fixtures. Painting a wall or a ceiling is not one of them. If your job includes anything beyond paint, tell us at the inspection and we will say plainly whether a permit is involved.
